The Nov. 6 election is only 33 days away and InsiderAdvantage is told that plans are underway for President Donald Trump to travel to Georgia sometime this month to hold one or more of his signature mass rallies to support Republican gubernatorial candidate Brian Kemp. They will be scheduled to especially boost GOP voter turnout outside of Atlanta.
As many as three cities could be site for rallies featuring the president and Kemp, as well as GOP congressional incumbents Karen Handel and Rob Woodall who have Democrat opponents. Two recent polls have Kemp and Democrat opponent Stacey Abrams as essentially tied, although polling Georgia races in recent years has been difficult and often wrong. (Trump carried the state by five points in the November 2016 presidential election.)
As for the Democrats, InsiderAdvantage hears that former First Lady Michelle Obama and socialist Bernie Sanders will campaign for Abrams.
