Alabama: Harper Lee novel to be published. “To Kill a Mockingbird,” a best-selling novel by Harper Lee, was published in 1960 and made into a popular movie. Florida: Bush beats Rubio; edged by Clinton. A new poll by Mason-Dixon shows that 59% of Florida’s Republicans want their former governor, Jeb Bush, to run for president, to 31% who say he should not. US Sen. Marco Rubio, however, doesn’t fare as well: 15% say he should run for president, to 57% who say he should seek another term in the Senate.
