Mississippi: Measles free. The Magnolia State hasn’t had a case of the measles since 1992. The state has required vaccinations for all public and private school students for measles, mumps, etc., since the 1970s, and exemptions are hard to get, reports the Washington Post ……. South Carolina: Graham bashes Obama on Iran. US Sen. Lindsey Graham (R), a potential presidential candidate, last week said on the Hugh Hewitt Show President Obama would “unleash hell on the Mideast” if he negotiates a nuclear arms deal with Iran enforced only by the United Nations.  Graham also told Fox News that the “Ayatollahs are taking the community organizer, law professor, our commander in chief to the cleaners when it comes to nuclear negotiations.” ……. North Carolina: McHenry would double child care exemption. US Rep. Patrick McHenry (R), who became a father in August, has introduced legislation with US Rep. Grace Meng (D-NY) that would raise the $5,000 for child care which parents may shield from taxation by putting it in a dependent care flexible account, doubling it to $10,000. “The cap hasn’t been changed since 1986… which is absurd,” McHenry told the Hickory Daily Record. “Everything has gone up in terms of cost.” ……..
