Oklahoma: GOP embroiled in staff controversy. After newly-elected state Republican Chairman Randy Brogdon appointed T.C. Ryan executive director, it was disclosed that Ryan had a misdemeanor domestic abuse from 2012. Brogdon demoted Ryan to political director, but some GOP lawmakers want him removed from any party job. The state Senate GOP caucus sent a letter to Brogdon reading, in part, “There is no place in our society for domestic abuse and violence against women. Our party needs to send the right message to women, and take a strong stand on this issue.” …….
