Mississippi: Cochran marries aide. US Sen. Thad Cochran (R), 77, married Kay Webber, 76, an executive assistant in his office, in Gulfport, MS, reports the Washington Post. Cochran’s late wife, Rose, died last year at age 73, after spending 13 years in a nursing home, suffering from dementia. During Cochran’s reelection campaign last year, there were rumors, denied by his office, that Cochran had a romantic relationship with Webber, who has been a member of Cochran’s staff since 1981 …….
