Tennessee: Haslam pondering privatization. Gov. Bill Haslam’s (R) administration has posted a request for information that could lead to private companies taking over facilities management of a number of state buildings, including hospitals, prisons, campgrounds, armories and college classrooms, among others. Democrats are opposed, reports The Tennessee Journal ……Arkansas: Hutchinson backs Medicaid use. Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R) says the state should continue to use Medicaid funds to purchase health insurance coverage for low-income residents and to subsidize employer-sponsored coverage for low-income workers, reports Arkansas Online. He offer this as an alternative to building a state exchange ……. Texas: George W. helps Jeb. In an email to his fundraising list, former President George W. Bush praised former Florida Gov.
