In response to the recently imposed requirement that GOP primary voters affirm that they are Republicans, three partisans of Donald Trump have brought suit contending the loyalty pledge discourages minorities and the poor from voting in the GOP contest. The plaintiffs, three African-American pastors who support Trump, contend the pledge amounts to a literacy test, reports the Washington Post …….Alabama: Moore says halt same-sex marriages. State Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore, long a strong social conservative, has issued an order to counties to stop issuing licenses to same-sex couples.
