South Carolina: Did Graham help Bush? At first glance, US Sen. Lindsey Graham’s (R) endorsement of Jeb Bush didn’t appear to be a major help. In an early December survey of likely Palmetto State Republican voters by Winthrop University, Graham garnered a paltry 2% to Bush’s fourth place 9%. But after Graham’s endorsement, a post-debate poll by OpinionSavvy showed Bush had climbed to third place, with13%. (Trump led with 33% to Cruz’s 18%.) ……. Kentucky: Bevin sues university. Contending that the University of Louisville’s board of trustees has failed to obey the state’s law requiring diversity, Gov. Matt Bevin (R) has filed a law suit against the board. If successful, two of the 20 trustees would have to be replaced by members of minority groups …….
