Florida: Trump, GOP strong. It’s Donald Trump with a whopping 48%, Ted Cruz with 16%, Marco Rubio 11% and Jeb Bush 10%, says a just released poll of Sunshine State Republicans from Florida Atlantic University’s Business & Economics Polling Initiative. And in the General Election, Trump beats Hillary Clinton 47% to 44%, while Bush beats her 45% to 42%. Clinton edges other GOPers in the state, however. Joaquin Castro, as well as former Mayor Henry Cisneros ……. South Carolina: Clyburn cool on Clinton’s prospects. US Rep. Jim Clyburn (D), third-ranking Democrat in the House, hosted his annual fish-fry in Charleston over the weekend that was attended by Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley.
