Texas/Mississippi: McCaul, Thompson criticize Obama visa exceptions. US Reps. Michael McCaul (R) and US Rep. Bennie Thompson (D), chairman and ranking Democrat, respectively, on the House Homeland Security Committee, took issue with White House publication of five situations in which a foreign visitor could travel without a visa, despite the provisions of a law congress passed last year narrowing exceptions to the visa requirement, reports The Hill.  “The President has decided that he’s going to break this law,” said McCaul. Walter Jones (R-NC), a backer of Rand Paul’s ill-fated presidential bid, said this week of Marco Rubio, “There’s questions not about his ability, but his lack of experience,” reports The Hill.
