Florida: Scott endorses Trump. Gov. Rick Scott (R) yesterday endorsed Donald Trump for president, the day after Trump defeated Florida hopeful Marco Rubio in the state’s primary, reported Sunshine State News. “I believe it is now time for Republicans to accept and respect the will of the voters and coalesce behind Donald Trump,” Scott said ……. South Carolina: Haley endorses Cruz. Gov. Nikki Haley (R), who had supported Marco Rubio and has been a strong critic of Donald Trump, said yesterday, “My hope and my prayer is that Sen. North Carolina: Burr, Ross win primaries. In Tuesday’s primaries for the US Senate, incumbent Richard Burr (R) easily bested three foes running to his right, winning 61% to 25% for Greg Brannon, his nearest competitor.
