Tennessee: Haslam lets Guns-on-Campus become law. Gov. Bill Haslam (R) declined to either sign or veto a bill that passed the legislature that allows full-time employees of state colleges and universities to carry concealed pistols on campus. The bill now becomes law. The schools, however, may still ban weapons from sports events ……. Virginia: Liberal groups register ex-felons. A number of left-leaning groups, including unions, the NAACP and some religious organizations, are taking advantage of Gov. Terry McAuliffe’s (D) executive order allowing ex-convicts to vote.
