New poll from Opinion Savvy – Georgians favor Trump, disagree with Obama directive on transgender students

A new poll from Opinion Savvy for Fox 5 and InsiderAdvantage shows that Georgia voters favor Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton by a 4 point margin.  The poll, conducted on May 15th, used responses from almost 600 Georgians and was weighted for age, race, gender, and political affiliation using propensity scores.  The margin of error is 4% with a 95% confidence rating.

Subsequent questions show that Georgians respond positively to the idea of Newt Gingrich running as Trump’s Vice President, and disagree with President Barack Obama’s recent directive that students in public schools should be allowed to use the restroom and other public facilities according to how they identify their own gender, regardless of their gender as identified at birth?
