Virginia: McAuliffe probed by feds. Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D), a major fundraiser for Hillary Clinton and a former board member of the Clinton Foundation, has been under investigation by federal prosecutors for a year, reports the Washington Post. They are interested in whether campaign contributions McAuliffe received from Wang Wenliang, a Chinese businessman with ties to the Chinese government, are legal. Wang also contributed $2 million to the Clinton Foundation ……. Med: Obamacare alternative proposed. US Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and US Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX) have introduced a bill that would repeal Obamacare, but retain parts of it, reports The Hill. The bill would provide a $2,500 tax credit for citizens to buy health insurance ……. Louisiana: Blue lives matter. A bill passed the Louisiana House (by 91-0) and Senate (33-3) that classifies targeting a law enforcement officer as a hate crime, thus making it eligible for extra punishment. Gov.
