FEMA has received more than 860,000 registrations so far ……. Arkansas: Boozman sticks with Trump. Despite Donald Trump’s declining poll numbers, US Sen. John Boozman (R), who is up for reelection this year, told a Jonesboro Kiwanis Club that he continues to support the GOP nominee. He cited the next president’s appointment of Supreme Court justices as his major reason, reports UARL Public Radio ……. Alabama: Bentley asks impeachment dismissal; new phone calls disclosed. Attorneys for Gov. Robert Bentley (R) last week filed a motion with the state House Judiciary Committee, contending the charges against him do not warrant impeachment, reports Al.com. Two days later, the contents of additional phone calls, made in 2015, were revealed by state Rep. Allen Farley (R). Among the “new information” was a contention by Bentley that supporters of casino gambling were behind the rumors of an alleged extra-marital affair by Bentley. Bentley is anti-gambling …….
