Republican Vice Presidential candidate and Indiana Governor Mike Pence was in town this week, first for a private big-money fundraiser and then for a rally at the Cobb Galleria.
Pence spoke for nearly 30 minutes in the packed-out conference hall, taking his time to both promote he and Presidential hopeful Donald Trump’s campaign as well as to take shots at Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
The Indiana Governor has been lauded for his calm and collected demeanor, a contrast to Trump’s more aggressive manner. That attitude was on appearance Monday evening as he made the point to lay out a stark difference between the Republican and Democrat visions for America, and the choice Americans will have in November to decide which road to take.
