South Carolina: Haley, et al, say election not rigged. “This election is not rigged, and it’s irresponsible to say that it is,” Gov. Nikki Haley (R) said in a statement toCharleston’s Post and Courier. “Faith in the democratic process is … more important than the outcome of any election.” A spokesman for US Sen. Tim Scott (R) said Scott has “full faith in our states’ abilities to lawfully carry out elections.” And US Sen. Lindsey Graham (R), who has said he won’t vote for Trump or Clinton, said “Trump is doing the party and country a great disservice” with the rigged election claim …….Florida: Clinton, Rubio ahead. A Florida Chamber of Commerce poll released last Friday showed Clinton with 46% to Trump’s 42%. In the US Senate race, Marco Rubio had 51% to Patrick Murphy’s (D) 37% ……. Georgia: Trump, Isakson ahead. The latest Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll, also released Friday, showed Trump with 44% to Clinton’s 42%. In the US Senate contest, incumbent Johnny Isakson (R) had 47% to 32% for businessman Jim Barksdale (D). Isakson, however, must exceed 50% to avoid a January runoff. NB, however, runoffs in the Peach State are traditionally won by Republicans …….
