Florida: DCCC identifies vulnerable incumbents. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has named 19 of its US House members who could be vulnerable next year, including two freshmen from Florida, US Reps. Charlie Crist and Stephanie Murphy. The two Florida lawmakers now qualify as members of the DCCC’s “Frontline Program,” which provides extra help to potentially vulnerable incumbents ……. Georgia: Deal open to campus carry legislation. Although Gov. Nathan Deal (R) vetoed a bill last year that would legalize guns on college campuses, he has indicated he is willing to sign a bill that includes some changes, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Last year Deal asked legislative leaders to exempt on-campus child care and other facilities from the law ……. Mississippi: Craft beer bill heads to Bryant. Legislation that would allow small craft breweries in the state to sell their own beer, in bottles or cans, on their premises has passed both the state House and Senate and is headed to Gov.
