Virginia: Poll shows Perriello, Gillespie gaining. A survey taken by the Wason Center for Public Policy at Christopher Newport University showed that among Democratic voters, Lt. Gov. Ralph Northam and former US Rep. Tom Perriello were tied, with 26% each, a gain of 11 points since January for Perriello, while Northam’s support remained the same. Among Republicans, former GOP national chairman Ed Gillespie gained five points since January and now leads with 38% to 11% for Corey Stewart and 10% for state Sen. Frank Wagner ……. Florida: Graham to announce soon. Former US Rep. Gwen Graham (D), daughter of former US Senator and governor Bob Graham (D), appears likely to announce any day now that she will run for governor in 2018. Tallahassee-based political analyst Barney Bishop says that Graham will be the early favorite “based on her last name and the fact that her father is still alive, quite a campaigner, and the good will he’s established over the years.” ……. Oklahoma: Two more in governor’s race? The McCarville Report says that two prominent Sooner Statepoliticos are looking at the 2018 race for governor.
