Asa Hutchinson (R) told CNN last week, “but it still results in a cost shift to the states that needs to be rectified” in the Senate ……. Florida: EMILY’s List endorses Graham. The influential EMILY’s List (Early Money Is Like Yeast), which supports pro-choice Democratic women candidates, has officially endorsed Gwen Graham in the 2018 governor’s race. The endorsement should give the centrist Democrat Graham a major boost in the primary ……. Georgia: Shaq for sheriff. NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal, now a star of entertaining television commercials, told the Los Angeles Times that he will run for sheriff in 2020. Shaq is already an honorary deputy in Clayton County,Georgia, though he also has property in Florida. Said Shaq, “I can throw on a suit and have a conversation with Bill Gates, I can go in the ‘hood and talk to the homies … I know how to run the team.” Stay tuned …….
