Kentucky: Paul will vote for tax reform. Despite his reputation as a maverick and his recent vote against the GOP healthcare plan and the Trump budget, the Washington Times reported that US Sen. Rand Paul (R) tweeted “I’m all in for tax cuts @realDonaldTrump. The Biggest, boldest cuts possible – and soon!” ……. Arkansas:Hutchinson wants to cut taxes. After reciting his administration’s record cutting taxes over the past two years, Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R), in a column for the Magnolia Reporter, said, “I am not done cutting taxes. Even as I speak, the legislature’s Tax Reform and Relief Task Force is analyzing state spending and looking for ways to lessen the burden on taxpayers.” ……. Louisiana: Cassidy rejects liar label for Trump. When MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski asked US Sen. Bill Cassidy (R) if President Trump every lied, Cassidy answered, “This president speaks in hyperbole. And hyperbole is interpreted by some as lies, and by the president it’s interpreted as just his exaggeration,” reported the Washington Examiner …….
