Louisiana: Kennedy questions tax bill. With one provision of the GOP’s tax plan raising the lowest tax bracket from 10% to 12%, some Republican senators are asking whether it’s too politically risky. “It can be explained, but it’s difficult to explain,” US Sen. A wealthy businessman, Levine stressed he wants to address climate change and raise the minimum wage. “Today, here in Florida, it’s time to do what is right,” Levine said, reported News Service Florida ……. Texas: Trump names Ryan Patrick US Attorney. President Trump appointed former state judge Ryan Patrick the US Attorney for the Southern District of Texas, which covers Houston, Galveston and Corpus Christie. Patrick is the son of Lt. Gov.
