North Carolina: Diamond and Silk to testify. After Facebook removed the blogs of two North Carolina African-American sisters as “unsafe,” the resulting outcry led Facebook to reverse its decision. Lynette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson, who go by “Diamond and Silk,” give humorous performances praising Donald Trump that gained them nationwide fans. On Thursday, the two will testify before the House Judiciary Committee at a hearing on allegations that social media has a liberal bias ……. Tennessee: Corker making a split decision. Although retiring US Sen. Bob Corker (R) will vote for more conservative US Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R) to take his place in the Senate and has made a contribution to her campaign, he will not campaign for her, because of his friendship with former governor Phil Bredesen, the Democratic candidate to take Corker’s place. Stay tuned! ……. Virginia: Senate candidates support Trump. At a debate among the three hopefuls for the GOP nomination to challenge US Sen. Tim Kaine (D), Nick Freitas, Corey Stewart and E. W. Jackson supported the Trump agenda down the line, reports the Washington Post, including the border wall, scrapping the Iran deal and demeaning the Russia investigation.
