North Carolina: McCready wouldn’t vote for Pelosi. Dan McCready, a Democratic congressional candidate in the 9th District, told the Washington Post, “I’ve said since Day One that I wouldn’t vote for Nancy Pelosi as speaker.” McCready, 34, is one of a number of Democratic challengers who are distancing themselves from the aging leadership: Pelosi is 78, Minority Whip Steny Hoyer is also 78 and Assistant Democratic Leader James Clyburn (SC) is 77 …….
