Arkansas: Hutchinson, Henderson win primaries. In Tuesday’s gubernatorial primaries, on the Republican side Gov. Asa Hutchinson was nominated for reelection with 70% to 30% for shooting range owner Jan Morgan. For Democrats, US Senate staffer Jared Henderson received 63% to 37% for Leticia Sanders. With 99% of precincts reporting, 208,260 Republicans voted, 107,722 Democrats voted ……. Kentucky: McGrath wins 6th District. Retired Marine Lt. Colonel Amy McGrath defeated Lexington Mayor Jim Gray by 49% to 41%, with four other contenders sharing the remaining 10%. On the GOP side, incumbent US Rep. Andy Barr had 84%, Chuck Eddy 16%. 100,418 Democrats voted, 48,372 Republicans voted ……. Texas: Valdez wins runoff. Dallas County Sheriff Lupe Valdez defeated businessman Andrew White by 53% to 47% in Tuesday’s Democratic gubernatorial runoff.  Valdez will face incumbent Gov. Greg Abbott (R) in November …….
